Plano, May 5, 2021 (3rd letter)

• Up to today, Marriott Dallas/Plano Hotel only has 14 king bed rooms left. When these 14 rooms are sold out, they have no more rooms to give us.

• To better manage and to honor the Covid requirements of this hotel, we will stop new registrations for Dai Hoi 36 when the 14 rooms above are sold, including registrations for attendance only.

• There will be live stream (EM and VN tracks) for those at home or unable to come (Canada, Australia, Vietnam).
• Up to today, we have 717 people registered including 85 children and 63 EM (13 to 34 years old).
• Go to https://daihoibaptit.org (Contact Committee) to call or email the person responsible for each area, or email [email protected] with your questions.
• Local people please still register and buy the food package so we can plan accordingly and for you to save time.
• You can see the rooms, meeting rooms, etc. at https://www.marriott.com/hotels/hotel-photos/dalpt-dallas-plano-marriott-at-legacy-town-center/.
• Two new and exciting areas next to each other: https://www.shopsatlegacy.com/ and https://www.legacywest.com/.
• Vietnamese and American food ordered and prepared by Rose’s Team with wonderful food and service.
• The VBS programs for children are led by three very competent leaders: Ngân Hà, Quỳnh Anh, and Phương Trang.
• The EM workshops and worship services organized by the very capable EM Team led by Rev. Linh Huynh.
• The program Praying for Dai Hoi on Wednesday 6/30 7 PM at Redeemer Plano Baptist Church with food and fellowship. If you need free stay a few days before Dai Hoi, contact Rose Thái 214-606-3638 (text or phone). We do not allow anyone to stay in our building during Dai Hoi.
• We’ll share with you information on local sightseeing and tourism information in the next letter.
• To prepare for voting and discussion, contact Rev. Phu Do, General Secretary ([email protected], 678-847-1324) to update your church information, to nominate or to vote, and to have an accurate yearbook for Vietnamese Baptist Union of North America (VBUNA).

Everything is going good and the local organizing team is working very hard to prepare for you to have a conference with joy and excitement so we all will be encourage to PRESS ON TOWARD THE GOAL!
