North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. His role includes leading his team to develop national networks, resources, and strategies to assist pastors in reaching North America for Christ.

In his last pastorate, Joel had the privilege of leading his church to be one of the fastest growing churches in Georgia and one of only 5 churches that grew for 10 consecutive years.

He holds a Masters in Leadership from Liberty University and is a John Maxwell certified Leadership coach, speaker, and trainer. He is the author of Digital Witness: A Social Media Primer for Outreach and Evangelism.

He has been married to his teenage sweetheart, Sherry, for 26 years. He has 2 college age daughters, Savana and Mikayla.
