Milton A. Hollifield, Jr. has served as the fourteenth Executive Director-Treasurer of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) since April 11, 2006. He grew up as the son of a minister in the western North Carolina town of Swannanoa. He has been married to the former Gloria Sullins of Black Mountain since 1972.  They have one son, a daughter-in-law and two grandsons who live in Asheville, NC.  Hollifield received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Mars Hill College and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

After pastoring churches in Texas and North Carolina, Hollifield was called as Executive Director of Missions for the Gaston Baptist Association in Gastonia, NC.  In 1993, the General Board of the BSCNC elected him as Director for the convention’s Evangelism Division. In 1998, Hollifield was named as Executive Leader for the Mission Growth Evangelism Group and served as the State Evangelism Director and State Missions Director for North Carolina.
 
As the Executive Director-Treasurer for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Hollifield’s vision for North Carolina Baptists is that: “By God’s grace, the BSCNC will become the strongest force in the history of this Convention for reaching people with the message of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.” He has led the NC Convention to focus their energies around seven biblical concepts for a Christ-centered vision: Practice fervent prayer,  Promote evangelism and disciple-making, Strengthen existing churches, Plant new multiplication churches,  Reach North Carolina’s international community, Embrace unreached and unengaged people groups and Engage young church leaders; and a strategy that focuses on impacting lostness through disciple-making.

Milton A. Hollifield, Jr. Đã phục vụ Chúa 14 năm với chức vụ là giám đốc hành chánh – thủ quỷ của Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) kể từ ngày 11 tháng 4 năm 2006. Ông lớn lên là một người con của một Mục Sư trong thành phố Swannanoa thuộc miền Tây của tiểu bang North Carolina. Rev. Hollified lập gia đình với Gloria Sullins ở Black Mountain kể từ năm 1972. Họ có 1 người con trai, 1 dâu và 2 cháu nội đang sống ở Asheville, NC. Mục Sư phục vụ Chúa qua nhiều Hội-Thánh ở Texas và North Carolina, Dr. Hollifield được Chúa gọi vào chức vụ giám đốc hành chánh về Missions cho giáo khu Gaston Baptist Association trong thành phố Gastonia, North Carolina. Năm 1993, cơ quan hành chánh của BSCNC đã bầu chọn ông làm giám đốc cơ quan truyền giáo cho Convention. Năm 1998, Dr. Hollifield được đề cử làm người lãnh đạo phát triển cơ quan truyền bá phúc âm và phục vụ với chức vụ là giám đốc truyền bá phúc âm cho tiểu bang và giám đốc truyền giáo cho toàn tiểu bang North Carolina.

Khi làm giám đốc hành chánh – thủ quỷ cho Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, khải tượng của Dr. Hollifield cho North Carolina Baptist là “Bởi ân điển của Chúa, BSCNC sẽ trở thành một động lực mạnh nhất trong lịch sự của giáo hạt nầy để mang sứ điệp của Tin-Lành Jesus Christ đến cho mọi người.” Dr. Hollield đã hướng dẫn North Carolina Convention tập trung vào họat động của họ vào chung 7 quan niệm Kinh-Thánh mà Đấng Christ là trọng tâm của khải tượng: Thực tập sự cầu nguyện tích cực, thúc đẩy truyền giáo và môn đồ hóa, đẩy mạnh Hội-Thánh sống động, mở nhiều Hội-Thánh mới, đem Tin-Lành đến với cộng đồng sắc tộc, chấp nhận người ngoại và nhóm người không ai để ý đến và tham gia vào sự đào tạo người lãnh đạo trẻ; và một chiến lược là tập trung vào ảnh hưởng trực tiếp với người hư mất qua môn đồ hóa.
