Ông phục vụ Giáo Hội Báp-tít Nam Phương nhiều năm, làm Chủ Tịch hai nhiệm kỳ (2014-2015 và 2015-2016). Thành công của ông đến từ đời sống cá nhân. Ông kết hôn với bà Jeana 42 năm và có hai con trai. Mục sư Ronnie Floyd được bầu làm Chủ Tịch và Giám Đốc Điều Hành của Giáo Hội Báp-tít Nam Phương ngày 2 tháng 4 năm 2019 và hứa lãnh đạo “với tâm tình của một mục sư.”

Ronnie Floyd was pastor of five churches over a span of 43 years, the last 32 of which were as Senior Pastor of Cross Church. Floyd has deep experience in Southern Baptist leadership, having served two terms as SBC President (2014–2015 and 2015–2016). Floyd’s proudest accomplishments stem from his personal life. He and his wife, Jeana, have been married for 42 years. They have two sons. Pastor Ronnie Floyd was elected as President and CEO of the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention on April 2, 2019 and has pledged to lead the Executive Committee “with a pastor’s heart.”
