Michael Lewis

Michael Lewis serves as the Executive Director of Revitalization and Pastor Relations of the North American Mission Board, this is a ministry that simply encourages and comes alongside pastors and their families.  

Michael is a native of Savannah, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Bible with a minor in Pastoral Ministry from Columbia International University, Columbia, South Carolina. He received a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. In 2005, Dr. Jerry Falwell presented him with an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Michael served as a pastor of local churches for 23 years in South Carolina, Georgia, Texas and Florida. In each of his pastorates, the church experienced spiritual and numerical growth resulting in the revitalization of a plateaued or declining condition. The churches he has served have been of various sizes and locations that enable him to relate with pastors in various ministry settings.

Michael, and his wife, Liliana, of Mexico City, have been married for 22 years. They have four daughters, Charity, Faith, Hope and Joy.
